https://m.jpost.com/american-politics/article-826618anders committed that Harris would work with him to pursue a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages, among other things.
Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) has pledged that a Kamala Harris presidency would bring a transformative shift in US policy toward Israel, promising efforts toward a Gaza ceasefire, humanitarian aid, and the rebuilding of Palestinian infrastructure. He also warned that a Donald Trump victory would deepen alliances with Israels right-wing leadership and lead to setbacks on issues from climate change to womens rights.
In a message to his followers, Sanders promised that Harris would work with him to pursue a ceasefire in Gaza, the release of hostages, a surge in humanitarian aid, the stopping of settler attacks in the West Bank, and the rebuilding of Gaza for the Palestinian people.

This is the most consequential election in our lifetimes, Sanders concluded, urging his followers to support Harris despite disagreements over Gaza.

(1,631 posts)6. The only thing I see that's different
is promising to re-build Palestinian infrastructure. Other than that, everything mentioned is what Blinken has been doing. Making a promise to re-build Palestinian infrastructure is also something Bernie Sanders has no business doing. It's Israel that's destroyed it, with US money and weapons and it's Hamas that provoked this whole war. How that infrastructure gets rebuilt and who will pay for it is a very big issue and won't be settled easily.
