(316 posts)(Straight D) in Nevada (Las Vegas) on 10/16 and it was received and processed by the Clark Cty elections office on 10/19 (the 1st day of early voting).
My son and his fiancée voted by mail for Harris-Walz in CA. My two sisters voted in person for Harris-Walz in TX. My other sister voted yesterday straight D in NC (she previously was an R), and my brother voted straight D in CO.
So, 7 family votes for democrats.
Two true blue ballots dropped off at county election office in deeply red south-central Pa.

(437 posts)Straight Democratic ticket of course. A former student I really liked is running in one of the local elections as a Republican. I voted for his Democratic opponent that I dont really know much about - except that he is a Democrat, which in this election is the only thing that matters.
In a couple of more prominent races, a Republican is running unopposed. I skipped those races and didnt vote. The voting machine didnt like that and kept asking me didnt I want to vote in those races. I kept muttering Im not voting for a dang Republican and skipped them every time. It finally got the message and let me finalize my ballot.

(8,393 posts)Mrs. Permanut and I dropped them in the box yesterday. Ballot boxes have been sabotaged here and in Washington, but ours is in the parking lot of the Washington County Sheriff's office, so we should be okay. I'm going to check daily anyway
