In the grand scheme of the election this may be minor and a little paranoid.

Just wondering if this has been happening to anyone else.
I have recently gotten 2 texts from Republicans that I have typed stop and while normally when I request stop I get a choice if delete or delete and report junk. On one I got no message that it was stopped and on the other report junk was not an option. Last week I got text from a Republican and did as another poster suggested responding with an expletive and was told I was removed. I will admit it made me smile.

If the repubs think they are being cute or intimidating, they are not. Ignoring someone saying no or stop is pretty on brand for them.

Yes, I think it's better to just block the offending number without responding at all... Think. Again. Oct 2024 #4

...at least this way we aren't even giving them the information that our number is a working, valid number.

I replied STOP to the first one, but then I got the second one, so I replied that I wouldn't piss on him if he were on fire. They seem to have stopped after that. We'll see.

With some words that make a sailor blush and that I already voted for VPOTUS Harris and would never vote for a convicted felon and treasonous traitor. I then sometimes add that each text from a Republican I get, I give money to her campaign or sometimes to SOC’s campaign or whoever is their terror du jour. most of the times I get a message saying I’m unsubscribed.

On my eye phone, sometimes I can delete. And sometimes I can delete and report junk. Not sure why, there’s no pattern

I don't really have a reason to stop and delete unless its from republicans.
