'Shocking display of hate': Mt. Pleasant PA Halloween parade entry depicts VP Harris handcuffed & tied to golf cart

Trump supporters have injected their vile and blatant racism and misogyny into the Mount Pleasant Pennsylvania community's annual Halloween parade.

The parade was organized by Mt. Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department. Held the night before Halloween on Main Street in the community of 4,250, there were all the typical entries — fire trucks, Boy Scouts, high school football players and dance groups. It was unclear how the entry in question got into the parade, if its presence was approved by the fire department and who took part in the display.

Photos of the display posted on social media showed what looked like a long gun sitting on a tripod on top of the roof of a golf cart. Two people were standing in the back of the golf cart, one of whom was dressed as Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. A sign in support of the former president hung on the front of the cart.

People wearing dark suits and sunglasses walked next to the cart, presumably costumed as Secret Service agents. Behind the cart was a person wearing a red pantsuit, who appeared to be depicting Harris, the Democratic candidate for president. That person was handcuffed and tied to the back of the cart by a chain or rope.

Disgusting. Their play of innocence is part of the offense. "Oh what? Lynching? Us? Never? Can't you take a joooke?" These people were not raised right by their delinquint parents.
