Life after tRump...what's next?

I am very optimistic that VP Harris will win this election. What truly concerns me is what is next? Who among the conservatives can replace the vacuum left by the Orange Anus? What does that even look like? How can you top bat-shit crazy? Who will the magats turn to?

...the rightwing hate and evil is so much more widespread than just the magats.

The word "conservative" is a lie, it's like calling a cigarette a "smoky-treat".

There is only one way forward from now on, and that one way is Left.

The battle will never end. We need a way to inform people without the misinformation and disinformation. I keep thinking about something like the fairness doctrine, but with the new ways people get their info, it looks like all the choirs like their own preachers. It’s a conundrum. Citizens united needs to be repealed, and the scotus needs some enforceable ethics rules. Those seem to be the roots of the rot. As for what will become of the raging magas, I’ll bet the oligarchs (thiel, musk) have them in their sights. We are in for a hard road.

Yep...that's what scares me. tRump is a symptom of a greater evil...a spokeperson. The future is really scary.

We need a grassroots movement against plutocracy and its judicial retainers. Tom Cotton and Mike Johnson might be less nutty, but not less maleficent.

But that work starts next week..

Nor will other tyrants such as Putin. This will forever be a threat to our country and our democracy. There is no price too high for these forces in destroying our country. This will be a forever battle until humanity has rejected it on a planetary level.

for the last 8 years and get back to decency, love for Democracy, wanting a government that is focused on serving the people rather than the corporations, and these perpetual wars. I also want to see our nation be the stimulus that bring the world together to fight Climate Change.

I know it is a lot to ask, but if we can dream it, we can make it happen. ☮

They lost their shit when Barack Obama won the election. Racism was always there, but it came out more prominately with the Tea Bagging Tea Party. And then the pendulum swing to the extreme right and the Korrupt Korpulent Koprolite became the 45th as a result. Most of America saw how bad he was and voted to toss out that rotten, empty pumpkin in November 2020.

Now when VPOTUS Harris wins, what will come out then? How bad will they get with the racism + misogyny? Will sane America keep showing up for the vote and keep those fascists from winning in 2026, 2028, and on?

Biden's economic industrial policy and jobs growth wil be a tough act to follow.

Fed policy has been accomodative. Loose. Now they try to mop up the liquidity.

Great Recession spending, Trump tax cuts, Stim under Trump and Biden, and Economic Recovery was also spending. Inflation is still a possibility, even as products shrink and are cheapened.

Job growth won't continue forever. What do you do when home gigs, remote work starts shrinking?

Politically if you don't start throwing some of these traitors in jail they will resurface. Heritage won't go away. Courts are polarized. SCOTUS is de facto GOP Fortress. Politics is now controlled by money, civil rights are less a concern.

VP Harris if elected, will have the former-GOP to appease, thank, reward.

We are moving to a time when the Center may become popular. But it will be a blend of left and right, with few happy political campers.

Make voting easy and accessible to every citizen. Then try to get justices onto the SCOTUS who will overturn Citizen's United.

Those things happen and I won't care about these losers anymore. Let them rot.

My daughter was able to cast her first ever vote in Michigan last week and I'm so happy that she was able to vote for VP Harris...I truly hope her daughter(someday) will have the same opportunity.
