In the classroom, right in front of her students.
In the video at the link, the guy's mugshot is seen.
It's obvious he just can't control himself.
MILWAUKEE
Milwaukee police are looking for the parent investigators said attacked a special education teacher in front of her students.
According to court documents, at 8 a.m. Tuesday, the teacher walked into her classroom at Bruce Elementary School, and 53-year-old Eddie Caldwell was already inside.
The teacher said Caldwell, a parent of one of her students, threatened to "beat her [expletive]," then pushed her against a wall and hit her in the head multiple times.
According to the criminal complaint, the parent attacked the teacher in front of her entire classroom, including five adults and 29 students. One person tried to intervene. Another person entered the classroom and said Caldwell threatened to beat them, too.
A witness told officers the victim never retaliated against Caldwell.
Right now there's a warrant out for Caldwell's arrest. Milwaukee police said Friday they are still looking for him.
Prosecutors charged Caldwell with battery to a school district officer, a felony, and disorderly conduct.

The immediate pain and the PTSD.
The trauma of the children, witnessing this assault. And imagining if the teacher isn't safe, neither are they.

Was he intoxicated?
Really angry, thinking his child was "disrespected?"

(13,560 posts)WaPo published an article recently about road rage in Texas and how instant anger is causing accidents and a lot of speeding tickets. The article was about excessive speeders who had to undergo a group counseling program. When asked why they were speeding, most of them said they were constantly stressed (some financially) and angry because of other peoples actions. One young woman who was driving at 103 mph gave the excuse that she just likes to go fastno reflection at all on how she was endangering her own and other peoples lives.
The anger seems to get worse every year. Where, or what, is the release valve?

(12,412 posts)". . . . . . . Just after arriving, that all changed for the special education teacher. She said Caldwell, the students mother, and the student were at the table where she sits.
"Nelson said good morning to the family. Thats when she said Caldwell confronted her. He said, My son told me that you hit him and also held him while another child hit him.
"I said, No, that's not true. That's not what happened. I said, If you want to step out, thats when he cut me off, said Nelson. She told TMJ4 that a day earlier, she was trying to separate Caldwells child and another from hitting each other. The confrontation turned violent shortly after. That's when he just pushed me in the window, and my head jerked, and he struck me twice in the head, said Nelson. . . . . . "
