(2,816 posts)that maybe we have a SCOTUS problem, and maybe we need some reforms.
It won't take President Harris that long. There is already a fairly strong consensus around some of the reforms that could pass IF we control the Senate and House.
if we emerge from this election without control of both houses, she should use her bully pulpit aggressively to put the heat on the evil 6 from the SCOTUS, with the goal of essentially putting the Supreme Court on trial in the 2026 and 2028 elections.

Yeah, I know it's two more days, but I'm feeling it in my bones, we are going to be victorious.
Kamala will be Victorious.
So I hope the rumor is true that Alito is thinking about retiring.
And then I hope the AG goes after him for his financial corruption.

(22,612 posts)It's just that Alito and Thomas are the two that I personally find most detestable. They've also been there the longest, and they're the oldest, so it seemed logical to start with those 2 dinosaurs.

(1,284 posts)If so, I did not know that. An uncontrolled migraine is torture. I would not wish such a migraine on anyone. Worse if Justice Alito does get a 3(+)day ride in painful head hell where the bathroom floor becomes his bed because the nausea is too bad, he might emerge from that wanting to hate his neighbors even more viciously than he does today. He has the power to truly torture his neighbors, as we all know to well.
Instead, let us wish Justice Alito is visited by a few ghosts (3?) tonight and that those ghosts show him the error of his self-righteous corrupt ways; and thereby, guide the Justice back to the Law in all of its magnificent Justice. Now that would be a wish I could throw my weight behind.

(3,561 posts)Caused by an intracranial hemorrhage as a result of a ruptured, basilar-arterial aneurysm rupture?
So no one has to google it:
The basilar artery is a blood vessel in the brain that supplies oxygen-rich blood to the brainstem, cerebellum, and other parts of the brain.
