My final election prediction is:
Kamala Harris will win the presidency handily. In a repudiation of Trump and MAGA, Harris will see an unexpected and unpredicted outpouring of votes from younger voters, female voters (including a record number of older white women), voters of color, and moderate Republicans. She will also do better than expected with white males.
The final electoral college tally will be, Harris 308 - Trump 230
Harris will win swing states Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Nevada, and Georgia.
Trump will win Arizona.
Harris will trounce Trump in the popular vote with between 8 and 10 million more voters supporting her.
Democrats will win a majority in the House of Representatives, the final result will be 222 Democratic to 213 Republicans.
The Senate will be split evenly after Democrats and Independents win more races than expected but VP Walz will cast deciding votes.

(2,454 posts)I truly believe this election will be a shock and awe event, like the 2016 election but in reverse. People are sick and tired of Trump and his neverending cavalcade of nuts, whackjobs, and yes, garbage.

(107,163 posts)Turning Texas and Florida blue is going to be like fetching candy from a vending machine. You're not going to get it on the first try, you have to rock it back and forth a few times, then it goes over.

(1,341 posts)But I think AZ will go to Harris and one other tbd state. (The 2008 Indiana result will happen again, no idea if it will be Iowa, Kansas, or one of the big ones)
