But apparently, tyson had been on some medication to manage his issues, something his manager (angelo dundee, I think?) supervised very carefully so that he could lead a relatively normal life. As I remember from the commentary, done-old had somehow bought tyson's contract, and insisted that don king be his manager. And told tyson that he didn't actually need the meds, he was just fine. And it was basically a disaster with tyson after that.
