Stunning: The Des Moines Register report of Ann Selzer's election eve poll.

Not on my bingo card:-

Independent voters, who had consistently supported Trump in the leadup to this election, now break for Harris. That’s driven by the strength of independent women, who back Harris by a 28-point margin, while independent men support Trump, but by a smaller margin.

Similarly, senior voters who are 65 and older favor Harris. But senior women support her by a more than 2-to-1 margin, 63% to 28%, while senior men favor her by just 2 percentage points, 47% to 45%.

Maybe 65+ voters are a little old fashioned: They don't like Trump swearing or miming blowjobs. Or maybe they remember the United States before Roe.

I will not only never support a RAPIST, but I will never support a political party that elevates and glorifies said RAPIST. ♀️💙

Another drama, a trump self inflicted bullshit problem? Are people stupid enough to vote for that?

Like me are the ones who marched,, organized, fundraised, booked busses, lobbied Congress, painted placards and voted to get Roe v Wade passed.

It blows my mind that anyone would think that simply because we are beyond child bearing age, that 2
we would not give a shit if our daughters, and granddaughters lost their right to bodily autonomy.

This is a massive insult and we are NOT GOING BACK.

Our parents fought and many died.

Very few WWII vets left. This makes it easier for our modern fecists to rally.

14. And, there are far more 65+ women than men, due to men having a shorter life expectancy

In 2020, the population age 65+ was 30.8 million women and 24.8 million men. It adds up.
