(267 posts)There might be one person who needs a nudge out the door on Election Day.
Figure I'll do 90 minutes in the morning, sometime. Might even take the day off work, even though I already voted, and my vote's gonna get washed out in this red state.

(3,767 posts)From people who have been posting here especially hard during the last week or so. Songs I can really get lost in. I plan on having them running in the background all day. Otis Redding, Van Morrison, Mommas and Pappas, Grateful Dead, Crosby Stills and Nash, Jefferson Airplane, Ella Fitzgerald, Diana Ross, Credence Clearwater, Little Richard, and the list goes on.

(1,530 posts)My plan is to keep off the internet and tv and go to bed early. Get up very early and check out the results. I doubt that will happen, but it sounds good anyway. Ill probably be scrolling DU and Twitter all night.
Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
