And for abortion rights along with marijuana legalization (on the FL ballot). We are proud of him and so very grateful.

(12,800 posts)He doesn't see or hear as well as he used to so we had to help him fill out the ballot - but his mind is still sharp! And his heart is still true blue.

(6,309 posts)I remember being so happy for her. When she was born, women had just gotten the right to vote. 80 years of white presidents, and all of a sudden, a man who looked like her.
And now, a beautiful brown skinned woman might be president. I could not be more proud.

(1,994 posts)so she was unable to vote for Obama. However, in her coffin were photos of her beloved family members as well as portraits of Barak and Michelle, upon her final wishes. She loved both. She would be incredibly proud to vote for Kamala today.
