One hour with a Trumper
Spent the past hour with a conspiracy theory Trumper (an old acquaintance I bumped into at the coffee shop this morning). Given he and I both seemed to have some time to spare I wanted to see how much the Harris campaign had penetrated into his psyche. Sadly, you'll know the answer to that without me telling you.
However one thing I will say is that he did not predict a win for TFG. Nor did he seem too phased by that. He said that at the end of the day it won't matter. He sees darker figures in the background who control 'everything' and hence it does not matter who is in control in the White House.
I'm sharing, because that is actually a bit of a shift. In our prior (very sporadic) conversations he has been convinced TFG was the only savior. So net result, although he is still deep down the rabbit hole, the grip TFG had on him is slipping.
Small and anecdotal, but I see many such signs that the grip is weakening. Keep up the good work everyone and stay safe in the coming days. Bring it home!
