(52,997 posts)NC has a very long history of voting red for president and blue for everything else. When you go to the polls there the workers will tell you "marking the straight ticket box does not cast a presidential vote."
However, given that the only thing Trump has actually promised to do for NC is rename Fort Liberty for Braxton Bragg and there's a lot of things he would like to do TO the Tar Heel State, a Harris win wouldn't be out of the question.

(2,101 posts)I have been very active in NC politics for the last 24 years. I think we have a chance to be Blue this year. Lots of young folks voting, lots of women. I ain't counting those chickens yet, but it feels kinda like 2008.
