We have now reached the truly insane portion of the evening.

People are panicking one minute and rejoicing the next. Counts are swinging various races back and forth like a yoyo on a short string. Information received in the next 3 hours will likely be obsolete in 6. DU refreshes take a minute.

This is the beginning of the scary part.

If you don't enjoy this kind of madness, maybe reduce election update intake to once or twice per hour. I probably will.

Plus, you're overloading the DU servers. Stop that! Do you have any idea how hard those hamsters are running right now? Poor things...

The "do" part is important. Do something else. Get caught up in it for an hour, then check back and see what's happening. Then go do something. Do whatever it is you normally do at this time of day.

If that's sleeping, and you can't sleep, then do what you do on other nights when you can't sleep.

Sadly, that's the best advice I have for you. Sometimes it works.

... hopefully early, but there's no guarantee.

There's no way Chump can win. Even his own party doesn't want him back in the White House. Well some do, but that's only because they've been lied to and brainwashed. Chump has lost a lot of voters since 2020, and HE LOST in 2020.

People are forgetting how long we had to wait to get the final results then. It was something like 3 days before Pennsylvania had all the votes counted. Things are a little more efficient now, but it still takes time to count those mailed ballots.

We'll be fine.
