Why don't we wait until the clear results are in before speculating?

(24,600 posts)These things do take time but I dont think its fair to say our fellow DUers love doom. Weve seen our fellow Americans vote against their own best interests and against the safety and security of their family members and friends. People are afraid and have good reason.

(2,248 posts)In 2020, Biden was down significant margins in most states but there was a ton of outstanding votes in the blue areas.
That isn't happening tonight.
In 2020, only 20% of Philadelphia had reported.
Right now? It's over 60% and she's not pulling in near the margins Biden did four years ago.

(2,248 posts)And it's a trend that showed itself around this time in 2016.
I think it's best we start preparing ourselves. It's not like 2020 where there was so many outstanding Biden votes.
At this point, Biden was down double-digits to Trump in PA. Places like Philadelphia barely had any reporting numbers.
But right now? Philadelphia is at over 60% reported and Harris is doing worse there than any Democrat going back to Kerry has.
That's a concern.
