(4,259 posts)She was the vp. If we gave to someone else, the African Americans would have revolted. That was the circumstances.

(38,824 posts)She (i.e. Harris) should have picked Shapiro (for VP instead of Walz).

(39 posts)I don't think anyone could win when Trump is constantly being talked about left and right by the news media. Not to mention that racism and extremism run rampant in the rural US.

(5,252 posts)It isn't over. It isn't going as most of us would have liked so far, but it isn't over---
and the VP candidate has made no measurable difference since possibly 1960. We all have been loving Walz, and there is NO chance that Shapiro would have been any more clever or made any difference in this election.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
