Here is the deal. “Its about the guns” I work in a union shop blue collar mostly men couple of women. 20’s to 60’s The tables have gun magazines on them. The guys talk rounds and grains,velocity and rust prevention fluids cleaning. They talk new ones, cool ones. Where to go shoot, money on ammo reloading ammo. Prices and where to buy. When Charlton Heston said pry the gun from my cold dead hands it was a call of unity and dedication to the hobby. And yes its just a hobby....Until a whako gets one. (By the way one of my coworkers braggs that he has over 50 guns and he lives with his mom.) So I cringed when Harris in her stump speech said “common sense gun laws” I knew it was a dividing statement. The same type of person who is into the gun hobby is exactly the working class grievance guy/woman that voted for Trump, Just ask me how I know.
