At some point you have to blame the dems

I know its hard to stomach but the inability for us to win against a convicted felon who rambled hatred non stop is puzzling. I have to think it was America is not ready for a woman president lets alone an African American president just yet. Harris campaign must have known they were behind 4 points on average. It was in every swing state.

Apparently think the USA is heading in the wrong direction so they voted the incumbent out. Plus the country is misogynistic so Kamala was doomed from the beginning. It’s so sad . She ran an awesome campaign and did nothing wrong.

...He needed to decide not to run after the mid-terms when we had a much better-than-expected showing. Have a real primary, and give the candidate time to run a legit campaign. Kamala did the best she could, and almost pulled it off.

Abortion was not a winning message when people were still complaining about the costs of everything. And it doesn't do anyone any good dismissing that concern like so many people have done over the last few weeks/months and years. How many people mock those complaining about egg prices? Or gas?

Inflation was brutal and I said it multiple times here that just because it dropped significantly over the last two years, didn't mean costs dropped with it. They stayed the same. The messaging wasn't getting through to the voter.

I also think Democrats need to come to terms with the gender gap. They're hemorrhaging male voters, and not just white voters but Black and Hispanic. That's scary because if Republicans continue to make gains there, Democrats are goin to be out in the wilderness for a long, long time.

Perhaps the Christian moralists were CORRECT----

it would appear that the vast majority of the country is completely without any REAL moral standards--
although they like to PREACH about it, those standards only apply
to those whom they hate--- whom are actually the only citizens left with any standards

It deeply disturbing to think Ukraine is lost. We could very well be looking at a ground war in Europe in the near future. Then there’s Project 2025. I can’t even begin to think about it. There will be rough days ahead.

They whined about the media being liberal and intimidated them into being silent and/or meek. They took over talk radio and many of the newspapers and then Fox News came along. Now they’re going after schools - including universities. They went after science, facts and the environment. They gerrymandered and put right wingers in the Supreme Court and other courts. They have been working on all this step by step. It is said that the Republicans went too far. The “regular” Republicans ended up being voted out and replaced by Magats.

I'm not about to start blaming Democrats when half the country turned out to support a bigot who promises to deport millions of immigrants (including legal ones), purge cities, fill the government with loyalist, and be a dictator from day one. I'm not inclined to excuse (if not normalize) voters who supported that.

Re the other 'issues: abortion, economy, etc. we'll see what that will be like under Trump.

Only this time he won't have Obama's economy to coast on, then claim credit for.
