White people voted to end democracy itself in order to safeguard their privileges

When Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat which lead to ending legal segregation in America, the response by Whites was to decimate public transportation entirely which is the case for most of America. Last night was yet another example of White people choosing their privileges over human decency.

The heart of Trump's campaign was targeted towards immigrants. He made naked, fear-based appeals stoking White anxiety over their shrinking demographic in this country. Ironically, their shrinking demographic is a direct result of consistently voting for Republicans since the 1980s. Conservative economic policies made life more expensive particularly for young people to start families. Few are willing to start one in their 20s. Most wait until they're established in their careers, but by that time, that 10 years of not reproducing which has causes their demographic decline.

Cutting funding for mass public transportation means that most Americans depend on owning/operating a car. Yet another expense that makes it harder to have children.

I'm not sure we should be finger pointing in this way, but I definitely will go off on anyone who tries to lay this abomination at the feet of minorities.

What I've thought all along is that this will be an election that determines if stupid people outnumber smart people in this country.

The answer is yes.

Saw this morning that Starr COunty TX was Hillary's largest margin in 2016 - she carried it with 79% of the vote.

Fast forward to yesterday:

Trump won Starr County TX, most Hispanic county in America at 97% by 16 points.

Last time it voted republican was in 1892.

10. White people have been made to feel unwelcome by young and liberal America

I think people can work through the idea that they have inherent privilege, but the hostility just for being white is problematic.

Most white Dems have spent a lifetime welcoming and embracing all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, orientation. But that Dem party ideal is not being reciprocated and older white folks, especially men, far from feeling embraced, feel isolated and rejected by the same people they long embraced even when it wasn’t fashionable.

The color of a person’s skin should have no bearing on the idea of America, and so white people need to learn not to object to what color of person predominates demographically, but the (still) predominant population are not going to accept being cast off as if they were now the British. The white people still are Americans and deserve to be treated as still welcome in this country. The Republicans are offering this to white people. We need to make sure we stop pushing white people out of the party.

You keep ignoring the problem which is White anxiety over demographic change. The Dems could nominate Andy Beshear and the results would've been the same. Yes, White Democrats are comfortable in a diverse party and country, but they do not represent a majority of White people in this country.

I think white people can get behind demographic change once they embrace the idea that America is not a white country, but a concept for an ideal of liberal-based freedom with opportunity for all, regardless of race or religion. The point you are declaring as false is that White males are being attacked by progressive groups for being wrong about everything, for being irrelevant, for being part of the problem, for being the patriarchy. I believe the Democratic Party is pushing whites away, and I think this not only a self-defeating strategy but also is an anti-American construct, borne perhaps of justifiable anger, but manifesting as the pot calling the kettle black.

A clear majority of White voters do not embrace that idea. It's not the Democratic party pushing Whites away from a diverse party. It's White people abandoning the ideas of a liberal democracy.

I’m college educated and a liberal upper middle class white man. Very much a outlier.

Most Dump voters are white lower class deplorables, regardless of their sex.
