The idea that if we continue to follow the rules and to respect the process, they will eventually adhere to them as well and develop respect for our form of government.

Allow me to laugh my ass off at that one.

One can better angel oneself into tragedy and misery.

One can also follow the rules to their own detriment. All depends on who is enforcing those rules and how they decide to change them.

But what the fuck do I know?
