Donald Trump's Presidential approval ratings

Just a quick reminder how bad TFG’s approval ratings were as president. He was underwater the entire time he was in office. He won’t do any better this time, in fact I expect his ratings to be a whole lot worse once people figure out what his policies are actually doing.

Many people dislike him personally and vote for him anyway, for myriad reasons. We should really know that by now.

Many voters will vote for any R over any D, regardless of the candidates. They are voting for the Republican agenda and Trump's suitability for the role of president is irrelevant to them. They weren't going to get a Republican agenda from Harris.

We habitually underestimate just how many there are and frequently insist that we understand voter motivations, when we really don't. We project onto them what we think they should be, and we're often quite wrong.

Trump doesn’t have 4 years to enact his plans, he has two, because we are taking back the House and Senate in ‘26.
