This may sound crazy, but the best person would be Barack Obama. He likely wouldnt accept it, but if he did, wed have someone to lead the loyal opposition. My second choice would be Nancy Pelosi. Since we likely wouldnt hold the White House, the Senate, the House or the SCOTUS, we need a leader in the worst way.

(55,809 posts)as I recall. He got that right. We really can't know how decisions are made there about campaigns and policy. I doubt a former president would make a very good choice for DNC head. It's way below his pay grade so to speak, and he would carry too much authority. Everyone would defer to him. One of the older members of the House is not a very good choice either.
