still feel lousy as fuck , but a couple of reports from the road,

I go to the Y at least 4 times a week, and I have been for years. The Y is a complete inclusion place, they are set up for disabilities of all kinds. They even have a crane chair to get immobile people into the pool. It is a “hangout” for many, especially senior disables, they hang in the hottub and exchange recipes and shit. It is their refuge, their social life. It is their place to be part of the human race. Anyway, today, yesterday and Weds, they were nowhere to be seen, which is very very very off. 3 days and no one, out of the many, I can only imagine the heartbreak and fear they are feeling.

Today, I am at work (a hotel), our Spanish speaking workers can’t even look up. The fear on the faces is just about killing me. Lots of hugs between us tho 

My daughter texted me, that all (ok some) crypto bro hoes, and their pals have a new slogan. “Their Body, Our Choice”. I post a copy of the comments, but I swear, I will throw up.

Anyway, my observations. It’s already getting ugly

3. Please don't lump all crypto people

into the toxic crypto bros group.

A lot of people own and participate in crypto and are not toxic assholes like the ones your daughter mentions. Unfortunately they have become even more toxic thanks to elon musk.

Some 50m people in the US own crypto. I am one of them. if you go on forums like Reddit you will see that most of them are not toxic disgusting assholes. Just as toxic if not more are the stock bros.

I am sick about this whole situation to the point I woke up in a mini panic this morning because I know immigrant people whose lives will probably be destroyed by the cheetolini. My heart aches for them.

7. The crypto thing "their body, our choice" - it's everywhere including the schools

My kids go to a big public school district in the suburban Houston area. The teenagers are not only posting that, but I have literally seen memes about picking up people to "pick cotton". Literally. It has been a couple of days and the hate is unleashed. White men won so big with this election, and they know it. They are gloating everywhere.
