this election was not ‘free and fair’. this was an election in the war zone of an undeclared war. since it was undeclared, we took no measures to protect ppl.
we knew bomb threats were coming, but somehow they closed polling places anyway. many feared bumping into the proud boys. looking back, the vids of fights at ev sites- were those on purpose? hmmm.
they openly disenfranchised college student- moving long time polling places off campus. purposely causing long lines. challenging residency.
their targeting was laser focused. they have all the data they need to draw a district that they will hold forever. so they knew where the dem votes were, and cd shave it any way they cd.

they nitpicked mail ballots. they passed laws, tho they were struck down. many, many reports on xitter and here about ppl checking their sos website and seeing they were not counted.
then there’s dejoy…

hopefully the recounts that r coming will shed some light. hopefully the campaigns r comparing results w their canvassing. hopefully, they r calling their +1s who r showing as not voting. hopefully, they r collecting affidavits.
but those assholes dined out for 4 yrs on- but the ppl have questions about the elections.
well, guess what. we get to ask questions, too.

and if we dont answer those questions many, many voters, esp 1st time voters, will throw up their hands. we must make them prove they won.

and b4 u say i sound like a magat- we will not take this forward if the evidence is not there. they made claims based on lies. we will either make claims based on evidence, or we will concede.
either way, we will know exactly how trustworthy our elections r.

3. Well, recounts are not going to find votes that were suppressed.

If polling places are getting bomb threats, those polling places get closed while the place is being searched for non-existing bombs. You are not going to find those votes, they were never cast, because polling place got shut down because of a bomb threat. And as far as I can tell from what is being reported, all those threats were in heavily democratic precincts.

iirc, brennan center has done calculations on this. there r things like the historical norms of how many newly registered voters who actually vote. not that those norms can b counted on now, but they r there. we can compare. if it’s way off, deserves a closer look.

10. Democrats shouldn't shrink from questioning

elections for fear of sounding like a MAGAt. They accuse us of what they are doing. With Trump as pres it will be full steam ahead toward elections Putin-style. We have to get explicit about what we are doing to protect our voting machines, and find better ways to combat all the suppression.

Every state with a Democratic governor and/or legislature can do this. The rest are lost to us.
