The Senate Race in Arizona is going to be very close thanks to the Green Party candidate which is getting 2% of the vote

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-elections/arizona-senate-results

It is unbelievable how these "supposed" progressives continue to help republicans win elections.

They know their far-left agenda has no chance of becoming policy nationwide, so they play the victim and blame the Democrats and try to help Republicans.

If the f***img commies main alliance with the Social Democrats they could've defeated the Nazis. But the commies considered them worse than the Nazis. They called them "social fascists?

1968. The far left couldn't bear voting for Humphrey so we got Nixon. 2000 they couldn't bear voting for our door so we got Bosh. 2016 they couldn't bear voting for Hillary so we got Trump.

They are using "Gaza" as an excuse. Never mind they celebrated the initial terrorist attack in the first place. If this war didn't happen, they would've had another excuse for not supporting Harris.

I also think bad actors help them and give them money. I also think their strategy is very bad and counterproductive. They need to work within the two party system with primary challenges.

Each

November

I don’t know why the Greens think their actions are benefiting the environment or social justice, but their tactics have only succeeded the progressive/centrist vote and helped right-wing Republicans get elected.

Both the Liberal and Conservative parties of New York State were far more effective in advancing their agendas into law.

Clearly the Greens are too arrogant and conceited to learn from history or retool their approach. Their legacy will be social and economic injustice, dedicated wasteland and polluted lifeless oceans. Hardly the sort of legacy a party (supposedly) dedicated to a better environment would want, eh?

I have no doubt, though, that some are voting "to teach the Democrats a lesson." For such individuals, your criticisms are wholly justified.

But I myself won't criticize those who are voting their own conscience unless they are voting directly for evil.

That assertion assumes that they wouldn't have voted for another third-party or that they wouldn't have just stayed home. I'd blame Comey for 16, long before I'd bother with the Greens.

to have his little brother, Florida campaign co-chair and repug controlled SCOTUS steal the 2000 election for him. That's at the root of how we got here. In 2016, Jill Stein got more votes in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin than Trump's margin of victory in those 3 states. The greens are clearly hurting dems and they don't care.

The Greens say what they say.

The Democrats say what they say.

The Republicans spew their bile.

The voter chooses. If they choose the Greens, then that means they have rejected the Democratic candidate. The only way your logic works, imo, is if the Greens don't exist or have no candidate. But even in that event, some will undoubtedly continue to reject the Democrat and either vote for some other third-party or stay home.

37. Voting green is a vote for repugs
Sat Nov 9, 2024, 06:44 PM
Nov 2024

I know what happened in Florida because 15 of my 24 years spent working on dem election campaigns were spent in Florida. Nader knew exactly what he was doing. with his big lie. He created it to hurt dems. Nader took crucial votes from Al Gore with his big lie that their were no differences between Al Gore and the SCOTUS appointee. Nader was in Miami the weekend before the 2000 election. Let's also not forget that the repug leadership council which was a subsidiary of the repug national committee paid $5 million for Nader's tv ad campaign promoting Nader's big lie which ran in battleground states like Florida. Do you really think that Al Gore would've put Alito and Roberts on the SCOTUS? Repugs have continued to help the greens because they know that the greens can siphon off enough dem votes to help repugs win. Now the greens might possibly cost dem Rubin Gallego his Senate seat and help install far-right nut job Kari Lake.

Far as I am concerned P___ on them. They were a contributing factor because they knew what the stakes were, and because of their selfishness they own it, because they stood by and didn’t try to stop it. No different than those in Germany who turned their back when hitler came to power.

They know they're hurting dems and they keep doing it. Nader in 2000, Stein in 2016 and now this. I hope Rubin Gallego can hang on. BTW, has anyone heard how many votes Stein got in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin this time?
