Has the right wing propaganda system penetrated into the psyche of Canadians, the way it has for many Americans?

Our next PM, who will take power at anytime in the next year, is a wingnut who supported an insurrection on Parliament Hill. A place where the protesting truckers flew Nazi flags.

But we do have Jordan Peterson.

The worldwide anti-incumbent fervor has not passed Canada by, and the conservatives are almost certain to take control of the government next year. Anti-vax, anti-trans, climate deniers who blame immigrants for increased housing costs.

Not as crazy as the worst MAGA nuts, but often close.

The NDP just barely won reelection in BC, narrowly beating the conservatives who fielded some pretty crazy candidates.

Has always had both. Their system is much better proofed as is UK against fascist dictators ever running much less winning. The UK is the best I have seen, pm can be gotten rid of quickly for many reasons.
