Start documenting!!

Now is the time to document things. You know, the "before" so that we can compare to the "after" as in after 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, and so on.

You know the Trump administration will play politics with data such as employment, hiring, and such. Those are hard for the average person to verify.

But there are plenty of things that are easily verifiable, but we don't bother to document them. Grocery prices for example. We can track the price of eggs, for example, by taking a photo of the listed prices today.

Date, location, what else? It would be ideal for each and everyone of us to document this, going to the same store or gas station or wherever. Track the same thing. If it's unleaded regular, paid in cash, then it's always unleaded regular in cash. One could just take a photo of the gas price signage so it includes regular, 89 octane and 91 octane and paid via cash or credit card.

Maybe DU can create a database directory for us to upload the photos and someone can go through them and enter the data into a spreadsheet for analysis.

It's easy to take a quick pic with your phone before filing it away. Not just groceries, but insurance, health care, and drug prices.

document everything. You know, 30 years ago, taking photos was difficult because we used film and there's a limited supply. Today, you can take hundreds of photos and the only limit is that terabyte thumb drive you store the photos in.

Of course, opponents would claim the data are photoshopped. Sure, that could happen. But how likely is it that there are literally millions of photos by thousands of people, all of which are "photoshopped" to such a high degree of seamlessness?

We do, however, want to make sure that we don't get bots into the system to infect it with actual doctored photos. How that is to be done is beyond my pay grade.

but now they sane-wash and normalize a narcissistic, misogynistic, white supremacist moron.

Fact checking and indexing facts for later comparison are foreign terms to most of the MSM and cable media figures...save for a few on MSNBC and a couple on CNN. FOX, OAN,NewMax and the rest of winger media...forget it, they deal with lies not facts.
