The loss of the Edmund Fitzgerald on Lake Superior.

Daughter of a career Marine (31 years), veteran of WWII (fighter pilot in the South Pacific), Korea, and Vietnam. Mother of a Marine veteran with two deployments to Iraq. It breaks my heart to see the direction our country is headed. My sister and I were both born at Camp Pendleton, too.

Military Families and the sacrifices they make. The Military is aware and provides essential ombudsman services. This Old Swabbie Supports you mommymarine. You have an incredible legacy to be proud of. I was fortunate enough to do a short tour with Marines in Saudi in the 90s. I greatly appreciated their presence.
