African American median household income is $56.5K. So, for the love of God, stop parroting an repeating dumbass, inside the beltway, political punditry tired, old bullshit about the poor White working class. The real American working class voted overwhelmingly for VP Harris.

(1,266 posts)College educated whites are doing well in this economy and voted Dem for the most part. Who we lost were the whites with a high school education, who earn less than $50,000/year.

(1,266 posts)And there is a substantial difference in income when filtered by education. You keep presenting information which shows a good economy but keep ignoring those who point out that we have a bifurcated economy that benefits the educated but fails blue collar workers without a college education. This trend started in the 1980s so it shouldnt be a controversial notion.

(37,182 posts)Median tells the more balanced, accurate story which is that White household incomes are second highest in the nation. There's scant little evidence of some sort of massive economic struggle that you, and so many hack DC pundits, want to push.

(1,266 posts)Why do you keep ignoring what people have been repeatedly said for the past two years. The national economy is finally doing well, but individual economies are a mixed bag. I understand where you are coming from because my personal economy has done very well over the past few years. But that is due to me having a successful professional career and thus being able to benefit from a booming stock market.
