Ive seen enough: Dave Min (D) defeats Scott Baugh(R) in CA-47

Winning election to Katie Porter's old seat in the OC. This puts the count at 213 D to 217 R with 5 seats to be decided.

Remaining seats are AZ6 (pure tossup), AK -AL (lean R), CA45 and CA 41 (tilt D), and CA13 (likely D).

My current estimated outlook is now 218 R, 216 D and 1 tossup.

R’s will never elect a speaker. And a slight chance Jeffries could be elected if a few get tired of it and switch.

Edit: are there any r’s who would?

Wouldn't surprise me if he might.

Also Valadao and the guy from WA4 are Republicans who voted to impeach Trump. If he gives them a hard enough time, they might switch (but highly doubtful)

A lot of power without the majority before, because Johnson needed his help to pass certain things. So if it’s 218 R - 217 D a lot of resistance is still possible. Obviously it would be better if we were in the majority, so we could have committee chairs.
