I think once dump takes office, there will be plenty more true patriots who believe in democracy who’ll step up and cause tfg a lot of problems. I don’t think it’ll be smooth sailing for him at all.

In October 2023, Judge Algenon Marbley of the Southern District of Ohio announced his intention to assume senior status upon the confirmation of his successor. The White House never nominated someone to fill Marbley's seat, however. Senators Sherrod Brown and J.D. Vance could not agree on a suitable replacement, so no pick was named.


This slot was in OH and there is a "tradition" in the Senate for what they call a "Blue Slip" - which is basically where the Senators from the same state would "sign" for their approval or disapproval of a nominee from their state, since the Senate has the role to "advise and consent" to a President's nominees. And in the case of OH - VANCE.

This is an example of a "Blue Slip" -
