We lost the battle for the soul of the nation

That’s all I could think when watching Trump go back to the White House and be greeted by President Biden.

Turns out this country doesn’t have a soul.

Joe Biden was not accorded this courtesy by Trump last time.

How does it feel to be the "better man," Joe?

Ah, he'll be alright, he doesn't live in public housing.

Well, the White House actually IS public housing, but it ain't the projects.

I’m sure we can have a nice discussion about it in the gulag before we’re executed.

“Wasn’t it nice to be dignified and honorable instead of winning?”

Biden already got fucked by his own party when they forced him out of the race (even though I told everyone that the moment he dropped out, instead of turning their focus to TFG's advanced age and mental decline, the media and pundits would forget the issue entirely); and he got fucked on election day when Dem voters absolutely hung his veep's ass out to dry...

And folks have the unmitigated gall to wonder why he's not being all snarky and petty and defiant up in the angry orange idiot's ugly-assed face when he KNOWS nobody will back him up?

The time to show Donnie the middle finger with the whole world watching was last Tuesday and Dem voters blew it...

Would there have been a better response?
Decorum without a place?
He represents our highest ideals facing the degeneration of so many of us against the rest of us.
We are contending with a technological onslaught on our society without, do unto others.
Do we let them control the conversation, which they have done for years, and force a response? Or do we start raising the bar ala Biden?

But what happens if we sink lower and then lower? Eventually we start throwing China? (Double entendre)
So you suggest we put a stop to their onslaught? How?
Do you change the mind of one so ensconced into the power he has playing a lie?
You might get his kids if you put them into a camp. (Again double entendre)
We are going to have to ride this out like we had to ride our kids out of the house.

I’m appalled and humiliated with Biden’s actions on one hand. And on the other I’m so very proud of a very decent and honorable man who demonstrated who a President of the United States should be.

FDR did.

I will never agree with putting Japanese-Americans in camps and dispossessing them of their property, but if this rotted to the core country could violate the Constitution for the sake of racism . . .

All smoke and mirrors.

Money is all on the same team.

Me personally: I don't own more than one house and I live hand to mouth, as a senior, I'm a "useless eater."

Joe Biden's "decency and honor" in the face of fascism is ZERO consolation to those of us who don't have far to fall since WE ARE ALREADY AT THE BOTTOM.

As it turns out, this place is far more crazy, stupid and mean than we were willing to admit to ourselves.

Start to scrape off the mixture of red/white/blue greasepaint and bullshit, and it doesn't take long to uncover necrotic tissue and exposed facial bones.
