GOP Senator John Cornyn announced he would like the House Ethics Committee to release the findings of the Matt Gaetz investigation. The Miami Herald has characterized them as damning.

I don't expect this nomination to go anywhere.

Same SHOULD be the case with Gabbard.

29. All I can say is that we are going to see the worse impulses of the GOP come to fruit. And then (me being sarcastic)

will finally, truly, see the GOP as they really are, in full, living color, including the rest of America. In one way, the GOP having seized the reins of reasonable governance, and then remake it into their version of governance is going to freak out the rest of America. Just watch and see. Maybe God had a reason to push the democrats out and the GOP in, so we can all see just how screwed up these people are now, sitting in the driver's seat. Especially being that they lied so much just about everything.
