Has anyone listened to season two of Ultra?

On a flight from Europe yesterday, I listened to Rachel Maddow’s podcasts. They are a must for DUers.

Trump isn’t the first to try a right wing coup. The forces behind him have always been there. We haven’t elected enough people who understand the far right.

If we get out of the next two years, we’ll be lucky.

listened to both. read pre”prequel”. maddow is great and it is a shame that americans are not listening. maybe now they will, but i doubt it. we have been dumbed down and are ripe for the picking. if the next four years don’t wake us up, we, as a nation, will die.

I listened to that one last year. Right-wing assholes have been a sore in this country for years. Henry Ford and Charles Lindbergh in particular.

I confess it gave details on the McCarthy insanity that I didn't know. If he hadn't died, he mijght have made it to the Presidency, just like Orange Guy.

she never dwelled on the McCarthy "Red" hearings.

That was a master's degree course on the far Right Wing.

She never touched on Roy Cohn, the link between McCarthy and TSF. Incredibly, Cohn connects the Rosenbergs, McCarthy, Reagan and TSF.

I wonder if Cohn connects to Edward Bernays? He was the father of American advertising. Interestingly, Bernays was the person responsible for getting flouride into American water systems. Bernays had to be a Nazi. He was a vicious enemy of FDR. I'd like Maddow to look at Bernays too.
