X won't let me delete my account

If your account is suspended you can not deactivate it.

11. I got an email about a login from a new device - device location Austin TX - MUSKet?

I created a Twitter account in the far pre-X days and never logged in to use it, only clicked on tweets that were posted here or news items.

Did Twitter accounts convert over to X accounts? The email said if I didn't do the login, to change my password (whatever that was). Is this phishing or what's going on?

***This OP is giving me the thought to disable X.
