"SNIP.............

“Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo is on an urgent mission: get as much high-tech spending out the door before Donald Trump takes office,” Politico reports.

“The Biden administration is aiming to commit nearly every unspent dollar in its $50 billion microchip-subsidy program before President-elect Donald Trump takes over in January, an effort that would effectively cement a massive industrial legacy before the GOP can reverse course.”

While we plan the multitude of ways to resist, direct action, indirect actions, passive approaches; there is a resistance to fit every personality and physical condition, every age and demographic, everybody can resist. And, consume popcorn at the same time.

and distribute amongst the 9/11 Survivors, the NYFD, NYPD, and all those on the pile in those days. Send them on long overdue vacations. Pay off their mortgages and/or crushing debts for health care not otherwise covered.

Why?

The Survivors are about to be insulted in the extreme by Caligula, who says he is going to bring the PGA and the Saudi LIV Tower Crashers Golf League together to bury the hatchet.

So peace, love, and fuk your feelings to the 9/11 Survivors. Rewarding those who financed the flying and crashing of those four jets, by sports washing what those suicide terrorists did is akin to aiding and abetting the enemy. It used to be called un-American.

Keep in mind... this is still VERY early and it'll take a decade or more before we start to see the US be a player in the chip market.

T***p was claiming credit for the record-breaking economy (all the while bad mouthing it) by saying, "The market is going up because they know I'm going to be president." He doesn't say '"again" because in his pea brain he's still president--he never left.

Harry S Truman (no period) said, "It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit." We know that President Biden will sacrifice all for the common good; spending everything will ensure that thousands will get good-paying jobs and the U.S. will continue to lead the world in chip design and manufacturing. If he leaves it on the table the money will just go to Elon and all of T's rich donors.

Did either state appreciate that effort? Fuck no. Next Democratic President we have in office needs to do what Republican always do - look after their own.

had everything to do with the Chips investment in Ohio. And in fact the entire Chips Act.

He lost his reelection bid to a kleptocrat, much to Ohio's detriment.

Either cancelled or put on hold indefinitely. I know this because the construction job I was going to start for Amtrak was canceled immediately. My PM told us all the contracts were pulled because the asshole want to repeal, either in part or wholly, both the CHIPS act and the Infrastructure law.
