Pete Hegseth is Enemy #1 to the US Constitution...

and the Constitution has its own defense against such enemies, in the form of the Second Amendment. The Far Right has long perverted the meaning of the Second Amendment into an excuse that allows US citizens to bear assault weapons and take the law into their own hands when conditions should suit them. Case in point is that of Kyle Rittenhouse who was acquitted for his shooting and killing of a Black Lives Matter protestor that he claims was done in self-defense, "We need champions for the Second Amendment, or our rights will be eaten away and eroded each day,” he said. “I support my decision, and I have no takebacks.”

This was NOT the original intent of the framers of the Constitution for drafting the Second Amendment. The fear, in drafting the amendment, was that a tyrannical leader could take control of a standing army (or the Military) and use the military against its own citizens. This is EXACTLY what Pete Hegseth would like to do, as he has pointed out in several of his books: to use the military to eliminate the LEFT, what he views as the enemy within.

The Second Amendment was intended to allow states to form “well-regulated militias” to defend against such tyrannical impulses.

We need to understand that this is the ultimate, final defense built into the US Constitution. Also, please do everything possible to defeat Trump’s nomination of Hegseth to lead the Department of Defense. If you have Republican representatives, please write to them and let them know of your concerns

I’m not calling for violence, I’m calling for a recognition that the US Constitution means business.

Don't you think it would be extremely embarrassing to have your misdeeds (euphemism) discussed in Congress, right down to the sex positions you forced on somebody? How on earth do you imagine that you can have any dignity on the job when the entire country knows what you did and how you did it?

I know if I was working with him and had to deal with him, look at him, etc., all I'd be seeing is him forciing himself on a woman.
