Are Republicans beginning to realize that they don't need Trump anymore?

Or are they still operating in fear that he will somehow destroy them and their careers if they oppose him in any way?

It was a bit of a surprise that they did not approve Matt Gaetz, but is there anyone else they will oppose and stand up against Trump?

Until we can see a pattern, there is no reason to be hopeful that this new Republican Congress has grown a spine.

It changes their game plan just a bit because they can no longer blame it all on the Democrats. They are in charge.

Was trash canning Gaetz a sign that some GOP senators have suddenly grown a spine?

Could they actually care about the US, democracy, and American citizens?

Or just a one off quirk? Just four GOP senators spitting in the wind?

They will always blame Dems for the crimes they commit.
That is how psychopaths operate.

I’ll cut to the quick on Patel, Trump can’t suffer another lost nominee. It may be too hot for Patel to (incredibly) be up for anything at FBI or CIA.

Gaetz is out. Hegseth seems to be snowballing. Word leaking out that Senate Republicans want to see her FBI file seems like smoke coming from the back room on Tulsi.

The healthcare related picks are a direct threat to the health of the American people.

I guess we shall see if the GOP gives an Eff.

the sooner they can dump him.

Then the knives will be out and the DoJ will really go after him. He would have been better off losing the election. At least the Democrats would have shown some restraint.

The broliarchs are counting the minutes until they can dump Trump. He's a walking (sort of) 25th Amendment.

Only he controls his moronic hordes. As long as he does, he can control who wins primaries.

Trump is long past his shelf life, he's already stinking up the party. It's time for him to go before their backers lose a ton of money. How they'll do it is anyone's guess.
