or attacks by foreign adversaries. With Tulsi Gabbard and Seb Gorka managing intelligence functions we would be a sitting duck for another Al Qaeda-type terrorist group to hit, and Russia wouldn't have to nuke us - Putin could just move into the West Wing.

is that NATO is aware of it. If the US pulls out (stupidly, mind you), the remaining countries will work hard to make the remaining Russian military pay big time.

If things get too desperate, it might very well be time for remaining NATO to play the big cards (nukes) against Russia. Sometimes, the bullied have to stand up and use every weapon at their disposal. The U.S. would have no say anymore. We'll be too busy admiring dear leader to know there's a war going on.

on how often trump has to shore up his approval rating among ignorant white wing rubes by deporting families. Similarly, I'm concerned about hatred directed at other minority groups.

The rich aren't interested in a financial collapse because they will lose too. Social Security, Medicare, etc., include tens of millions of GOPers, so don't think we'll see much bad in that respect. And plenty of companies and people profit off ACA, Medicare and SS.

First is the economy and what they are going to do to gov systems
Second is intelligence deficit in our protective systems
Third is loss of free speech and movements within and entering leaving the country
Fourth is loss and pillage of the wealth of the country by crooks and con artists in charge which we already saw in the first administration of the psycho, and once again it went unpunished and even un investigated in many cases.

Fifth is the state of healthcare and other social services governmental agencies. I do believe a lot of people are going to die if these are destroyed.

Sixth is the whole deportation event. I am thinking they are not really going to be able to do this but I’m probably just being hopeful.

These are all equally important to me but economy is first because that will have I think the worst effect on large numbers of people if the economy crashes.

that hits all of us across the spectrum, brought about as a result of economic decline, the evisceration of our institutions and bureaucracies, and a deterioration of quality of life. It then may become impossibly hard to do the simplest things, like renew your driver's license or pay your taxes. Then I think conspiracy theories will materialize explaining how this is not the fault of the new administration but because of Dems, Immigrants, LGBT+, Blacks, or some other convenient and vulnerable group, leading to resentment and violence.

I'm not predicting this, but it is my worst fear.

He's intentionally picking lunatics to run the country. Thus in turn will cause more division, a failed economy, people breaking laws to destroy democracy and support an oligarch society where everyone sucks up to the moron on top.

Yeah, that's a pretty good fear.

Although there are many official government actions that I fear, I don’t think many on this site know how much the amping up rhetoric against the trans community and Latin immigrants has made living in this country dangerous for some. . I’m afraid more people will see it as a cause to action. At the very least, we will see harassment and bullying rise.
