The new Trump presidency is a failure before it even begins.

He said he would choose only the "best people". He has not. He has failed in his choice of Cabinet positions.

Very few would be considered "competent" or the best choice for the job. Billionaires and sex offenders hardly qualify as competent. Neither do FOX television hosts.

He has failed before he even begins, and he will forever be known as a failed president, because of his choices he is now making.

Of course, he will try to blame the Democrats or someone else but the blame is his own.

He has failed the American people.

Much of what we see as failures are actually their intentions. Harm is the goal.

Think. Again.

...there will be enough total resistance from both the Left and the right that his entire term will be lame duck.

Not only that, but if we get back the House and Senate in 2026, maybe we can successfully impeach his ass. And vance's too.

But the cult is strong and persistent.
I am not sure if any of them will peel off.
Everything will be someone else's fault.

But certainly not all the R's would have voted against Gaetz.

It was just a handful who spoke out.

They must have wanted to show Trump that they are not ready yet to give up all senate power.

But it is safe to assume Musk, Trump, the billionaires will kiss or kick them into compliance.

I'd love to be wrong about this.
Who knows, maybe they won't give up without a fight .

Has he failed to choose a cabinet that could organize a trip to Disney World while staying out of prison? Why, yes; his proposed cabinet looks like the bar scene from Star Wars only less normal. Has he failed to scare the piss out of everybody? Nope, that was a big success. And if he succeeds in implementing any significant parts of Project 2025 that will be a success in his and his minions' minds but a huge failure for the rest of it. It all depends on your point of view.
