They control the White House and all of Congress... scored an electoral vote win and a popular vote win.

This kind of whitewashing isn't helpful.

I've never understood the allure of these catnip purveyors on social media.

...it is helpful to control all three branches of government, like the last competent, credible, and highly productive administration from 2021-2025. When you don't, and you build a house of cards on top of a bed of lies, and install incompetent, loyalists to do your dirty work, you end up with....what was the computer saying? Garbage in, Garbage out. They have no idea what they are doing, and their agenda is so unpopular that they ran AWAY from it in the campaign. Now that they have won, they are rolling it out, but guess what? Most people who voted for them, voted for cheaper eggs(?), not facism. Just as their voters FAFO, so too MAGA is going to FAFO when their opinion polls in office once again end up in the toilet. It's coming....

There is not a fascist mandate. Many Trump voters don't even want what his regime will try to pull off. They believed his lies when he said that he did not know about or support Project 2025's economic austerity program.

So how will the general population react when he tries to pull it off? When he cancels people's health care, cuts Social Security to ribbons?

but rather as an encouragement for Democrats to try to engage in all elections. She started out talking about the 50-state strategy which was largely responsible for Obama winning in 2008 with a huge senate majority. She's telling people you can't just write anything off as, oh Democrats can never win there. You run good candidates, run good campaigns and get out and support them. Yes, you will likely end up losing most of them, but on occsion you will win. You can't win if you don't even try.

Videos like this show her at her best:

Which isn't a particularly liberal or Democratic ideal in my book. It's rage channeled into harm with the patina of justification. Sorry, not signing up for that one.

People aren't listening to themselves. And Trump's effecting full Nietzsche mode in others is getting weird. Trump's going to harm the poor, so I need to harm the poor before he gets the chance?

Yeah . . . that's . . . yeah . . .
