(131,217 posts)By the time they're 72 a lot of people have had it. I retired at 62 when my employer transferred my job to Atlanta, a place I very much did not want to live in, and I've never regretted it.
Plus, I get to live pretty much wherever I want (with wifes approval, of course).

(1,996 posts)He is a feckless weak useless piece of nothing of any value. Till my dying day I will hope his remaining life will be one of misery and hopelessness. His absolute uselessness has brought this country to the horror we will be living in and his future should be just as desperate and hopeless as ours.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
