I had a blast…..all like minded Democrats, and sick Kamala lost, but had such fun kicking all MAGA’s asses. Feel a lot better……and we all said the MAGA’s will have to live through all the 45+’s piece of shit’s orders. We’ll all have to live through it, but at least we know what’s coming……the MAGA’s??? are gonna find out the hard way, and live through it.

1. About 20 people at our family Thanksgiving, including 4 hardcore Republicans.

We pretty much steered clear of politics in our discussions, focusing instead on catching up with one another.

But when the topic came up, curiously enough, all 4 of the Republicans weighed in, saying Trump was a fool and they could not believe he got elected. They seemed mostly afraid he was going to tank the economy (they are all 4 quite well-to-do).

Surprised me, and again begs the question. Where the hell did he get enough votes to get elected?

They are basically neo-cons. They don't want tariffs because of inflation, they support Ukraine, and they are appalled at his Cabinet picks. 2 were career military and they really don't like Pete Hegseth or the threats to arrest officers for "treason".

I helped cook some. No R in this house, lol. My cats got so excited but 2 would not eat the turkey yet😹 I have yet to make the cream-cheese cake souffle with strawberries. Just drinking my wine. What a mess to clean up though. I did most of it before we ate. We talked about the events here and there, not much. I hope bg does not spike or crash. I woke up at 38.

no sleep for me last night. (dealing with DV trauma only a month old and the therapy is digging up old family wounds)
