3. I found that NOT having health insurance was very very difficult.

I’m grateful that I have coverage now, and it has certainly helped me. United Healthcare, by the way.

I don’t “ignore” other people’s misfortunes, but in this instance I can do little about them.

4. It's a for profit enterprise. Which is why the US has the world's most expensive healthcare.

And yet, a lower life expectancy of all the industrialized countries.

5. The GOP derides socialized medicine, yet the US Military owns and operates its hospitals.

It hires its own doctors and nurses and its members get free healthcare. I fully expect the GOP will attempt to privatize it purely for ideological purposes.
