The next DNC Chair should absolutely refuse to take corporate PAC money.
If we are the party of the working class - and we are - then lets raise $$ like we mean it.

(10,438 posts)I personally don't give a damn where candidates get their money from as long as they stay true to the principles that earned our vote to begin with.
Most people probably don't even know what the hell a corporate PAC is, much less care about whether a candidate pledges not to accept money from them, but you can bet your ass they know the terrible ads they run constantly run against our Democratic candidates.

When we lose on universal healthcare then I will reconsider.

(10,438 posts)If people aren't aware of that, maybe it's because what we are campaigning on matters little when the corporate PACS and other campaign money deemed """bad""" is happily encouraged by Republicans to be used against us to drown out our message and replace it with their propaganda......

I am referring to eliminating the profit from health care. It becomes part of the party platform.
When you don't take their money you get to point fingers at those who do, over and over again.
You also get to show their voting records, and who is the obstacle to universal healthcare.
