(15,399 posts)It's a sweet little brass and enamel ornament, about 4 inches tall. Comes in a small box with the booket.
And it's definitely not an outrageously expensive grift it's keepsake quality.
A fitting memorial ornament for President Carter.

(214 posts)My Mom started gifting me and lots of other family members and friends the White House Christmas ornaments from their very beginning. She passed in 2019 and admittedly, I didnt (couldnt) bring myself to order them for myself because it was just one of her many Christmas blessings/traditions.
BUT when I found out that this years is in honor of President Carter??? HELL TO THE YESSSS I ordered it! And its lovely and beautiful and I gleefully added it to the collection she started for me and for many others. I cherish it, as I do the Carters.

(6,680 posts)Ordered it yesterday from the White House History webpage. Thanks for posting this video--I didn't know ornaments were issued sequentially for the presidents. Good thing it's Carter's turn, a fitting president for the end of democracy.
