Somebody on Twitter posted that during a huge debate when some incel Trumper geek a few years back started ranting about DC Comics "going woke" and he wondered why comics couldn't stay the way they were in the "old days" 😅

…had a Jewish guy from the Bronx, a white guy who’d never been out of the South, Black guy (from Chicago? I don't recall) and a naive white guy from a small Midwestern town.

As much as the youngers like to scoff at us Boomers, wen we were kids we could have told anyone a thing or two about why our dads fought that war and why this country thought we were better than the Nazis.

We haven't had any cartoons from https://firstdogonthemoon.com.au/ in a while, and I missed those critters! It's s really nice to see them again.

I also enjoyed the Time covers and the health care ones, and...well, all of them. But especially the bandicoots (and their assorted buddies!

He has tRump's lizard eyes down perfect!!

Many of these can be disturbing, as they are intended to be.

Some days I end up with a not-humorous lump after just looking at your selections (as it should be.) I just wonder if you have to steel yourself looking at so many. And I also worry about the authors/cartoonists - trying to teach us something with these panels.

Anyhoo --- thank you so much, always!

then when transferring to DU one at a time there's a handful I throw away every day. I try my best not
to take any of them to seriously despite the truths they point at.

As far as the group goes, maybe a bit too subtle for the common American. First off, those words on the toons! There're some really tough ones to understand. Then I imagine there's probably someone's idea of hidden meanings. Pshaw! And all of that...funny attempts?
C'mon man! The public can't be trying to laugh about things when some of their relatives and friends may be getting deported.
If these kinds of toons keep appearing, why, someone may just do something about the stuff they're imagining.
Or not.
Imagine getting paid extremely well in some political government position where you can destroy the lives of so many less fortunate people. But that's the American Way, right?

Great job as usual, KS. Just maybe over the heads of too many Americans who will probably neve see these...not those here, of course.
Later!
Going out for a bottle of Ripple..or case or two, or more. Think I'll need it!
