Steve Schmidt hit the nail on the head.

MSNBC guest Republican Steve Schmidt said that the media narrative trumps paid ads in a presidential race. He is exactly right.

I agree with this sentiment currently but it remains to be seen how effective the super pac ads are going to be going forward. The electorate appears to be on to the use of the super pac anonymity and sheer volume of cash at this time. If this state of affairs continues for a few more election cycles, I believe the super pacs will start to hit their stride and become far more effective.

And went easy on him except rev wright thing. I wonder how they will talk about him as the race gets closer.
