This past week gives us a road map...

...for how to handle the Trump era. Stand back and wait for them to come to us. The Trump and his MAGA cult don't have the votes to succeed on their own. They cannot unify their own party.

They can't raise the debt ceiling without the Dems. Trump can't get his tax bill through the House and Senate without Dems. SALT deduction must be included because of Blue State Republicans. He can't pass a budget and will have trouble funding his deportation plan.

What we need is patience and unity. Don't forget, his team is incompetent and too angry to act rationally.

Per Sen. Kaine, the kids cancer research package passed by Senate is much narrower in scope than the orig & way less money.

STAT News set forth the 5 areas of kids cancer research in orig House Bill.

Both are set forth here:

If these people had their way, they’d just let these people die of cancer like Orangina told his own family members about that kid who needed help, IN HIS OWN FAMILY!

Like they’d care about anyone else’s.

..all the cabinet picks are unqualified cronies chosen to 'own the libs'. They are a distraction for media consumption. They aren't the snake. They're the rattle. The Heritage Foundation has chosen all the undersecretaries and key personnel. Scary.

for Dems to follow.

The stunt about the House dropping the first bill on the orders of Musk and Mr. Trump exposed the greed of the wealthy at the expense of ordinary citizens. There will be more times when they push for benefits to the wealthy while taking them away from everyone else.

So, one messaging path for us is to hammer them over and over with labels of greed and financial elitism. Expose how each move that they make for themselves hurts the ordinary person who voted for them.

Make the labels stick. They are not the party of the middle and working classes. It's a phony image that they sold to their voters. So jump on every instance of their self-serving greed and spell out exactly what they are doing. Do it with labels and sound byte memes, not with speeches. Totally discredit them in the eyes of the people.

power as possible in the presidency while making Congress irrelevant. Not many guardrails remain, and I'm skeptical they can survive 4 years with fascists controlling all three branches of government and completely dismissing all precedent whenever they can, just like they did the first time around.

Bu that said, you're right about the incompetence. As this week should've made abundantly clear, It's going to be nonstop bumblefuckery and chaos, since this time there are almost no adults left in the room. Oftentimes, the incompetence will work in our favor, but chaos is inherently unpredictable.
